Black leather 10-eyelet boots

January 26, 2010

Brand: Dr Martens

Name: they don’t have names

I vaguely remember buying these sometime in 2006 or 2007 during a time when I was trying to get back into wearing boots every day.  I was drawn to them because they have an unusual feature for Doc Martens: they have a black sole.  They are a very soft, greasy leather with black eyelets and a black sole; very monochromatic and awesome.  Because of the softness, the leather never needed to be broken in and they are extremely comfortable to wear.  These are one of the several pairs of shoes that I had forgotten about until I started this project, and I’m wondering why I ever stopped wearing them.
